Registrants will be sent a link and a password to access a series of video tutorials. Check your eligibility for Stage One with this information sheet.

STAGE TWO – MENTORING – Up to 12 teams selected to take part
Application Requirements:
- Project Title
- Logline (max 50 words)
- One-page synopsis (short film) or episode outlines (web series)
- The opening scene of the script for your short film or web series (correctly formatted in a scriptwriting software)
- Director’s Treatment
- Director’s statement
- World and tone
- Themes
- Visual references
- Link to Video Pitch (optional)
- A paragraph about each of your team members
Eligibility Requirements:
- A paragraph about the barriers you face and/or lack of opportunities you have to learn about filmmaking
- The team is available from early Sep through to 3 Nov 2021 to dedicate time to developing the project and taking part in regular video calls with a mentor
- Team members are New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents

STAGE THREE – DEVELOPMENT LAB – Up to four teams selected to take part
The teams who took part in Stage Two are invited to apply for a Stage Three – a three-day residential development lab. Up to four teams will be selected to travel to Auckland where they will develop their project even further, receiving tailored script feedback, directing mentoring, and producing advice from industry mentors. The Lab is designed to get the team ready to finance and make their project. Application requirements will be available soon.
