Jacquelin Perske

Jacquelin Perske has worked extensively in television as a writer and producer.

Since 2016 Jacquelin has written and script produced SEVEN TYPES OF AMBIGUITY for which she received AACTA and Australian Writers Guild Award awards. She has written for upcoming series THE LEGEND OF MONKEY, script produced  DEADLINE GALLIPOLI and is the producer, co-creator and writer of the first and second series of  SPIRTED.

Jacquelin’s previous successes include acclaimed series  LOVE MY WAY, winner of 14 AFI Awards including Best Screenplay in a Television Series. She was also part of an international team of writers on George Lucas’ live action television series,  STAR WARS: UNDERWORLD. Her other credits include  BIG SKY,  RAW FM,  FIREFLIES  and AFI award-winning series, THE SECRET LIFE OF US.

Jacquelin was the writer of one of Australia’s most highly acclaimed films of 2005,  LITTLE FISH. The film starred Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving and Martin Henderson and received an astonishing 13 AFI award nominations. Reviews reserved special praise for Jacquelin’s complex, compelling script, consolidating her position as one of the country’s most gifted storytellers

In 2013, Jacquelin won the prestigious Foxtel Fellowship at the Australian Writers Guild Awards. She is the writer of THE CRY, a four-part drama series currently in production for BBC1 and is in development on a number of television projects.
