Fiona Samuel writes screenplays, stage plays & television drama.
Her recent trifecta of female-driven dramas has won multiple awards, high ratings and audience acclaim – Fiona wrote and directed PIECE OF MY HEART and BLISS – The Beginning of Katherine Mansfield and wrote the screenplay for CONSENT – The Louise Nicholas Story. She was awarded a NZ Arts Laureate for her body of work in television, theatre and film.
Fiona currently has two features in development and for the first half of 2018 has been teaching the MA in Creative Writing for playwrights and screenwriters at the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University in Wellington.
